Mara received a BA in Psychology from Penn State University. While at Penn State, she conducted research on parent-child attachment in divorced families. She is interested in cognitive psychology and thanatology. She was been employed at CSTS since March. At CSTS, she maintains the journal databases and is involved in research on National Guard and Reserve troops.
